Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started
What is Alcoholics Anonymous?
Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) is a worldwide Fellowship of people who want to stop drinking. It is run by its members, free to join, and open to anyone with a desire to stop drinking.
A.A. is supported by voluntary contributions from members. It is not connected to any religion, political group, or other organisation.
Its main goal is to help people stay sober and support others who want to do the same.
